Nope, never! I will never ask you to count calories, macros, etc. I do not believe in counting calories. Instead we will focus on food quality rather than quantity and eating intuitively. Meal plans and recipes also do not include calorie amounts for this reason.
No. Tracking food is strongly connected with unhealthy dieting habits.
No you will not need to completely eliminate any food or food group. I focus on food freedom and encourage my clients to eat everything. You will just learn which foods to eat more of and which foods to limit based on nutrients and health benefits. But there is ask or expectation to totally eliminate anything.
Many clients lose weight but weight loss is not the primary goal but more of a benefit. We are focusing on creating lasting, sustainable habits that provide long-term health and disease prevention – a lifestyle rather than a diet. The longer you spend living this lifestyle, the more benefits, including weight loss, you may see or experience but there is no weight guarantee. A goal of this program is also to help you realize that weight is not the end all be all for your health. It’s not a good measurement of health or your worth.
